Sales Administrator / Assistant to the Sales Director - R25k pm - Montague Gardens CPT

Max Salary: R25
Decription: Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator and Assistant to the Sales Director to join their team.

• Key contact at head office for all sales administration queries from the sales department
• general administration and coordination of the Sales department: Handling
correspondence, meeting administration, diary management, travel arrangements, and
document management for the Sales department (department of 40)
• All flight and car rental bookings for the entire company, managing and reconciling
• Arranging Key Account functions and members meeting at Cape Town Head Office
• Arranging yearly national sales conference for the department (location, admin, logistics,
flights and coordination)
• Checking expense claims and petty cash claims for the sales department
• Key account & client liaison (new stores, pricing queries as and when requested by the
KAMS)
• Approving deals and promotions for loading
• Sales/price analysis and gap analysis
• Key account cost masters, pricing checks and taking to SD for signing off
• Working together with the marketing team to manage the tracking of installations of new
POS to stores
• Month-end sales data (Incentive, Sales, budgets and transferring info to the appraisal doc
per region, (reps have appraisals every 6 months and are scored on the data captured)
• Working with yearly retail price file that is distributed to independent customers (for
electronic and printed price list)
• Recruitment assistance, drafting of job specs and liaising with recruitment agencies
• Drafting of New Employee contracts for the sales department as and when needed by the
National regional sales managers
• New staff inductions, booking all inductions and training with relevant departments,
liaising directly with the new employees before starting to explain the induction process and
training slots with the new starter
• Coordination of new starter company assets and starter pack (Cars, phone, tablets,
marketing starter packs, branded clothing, etc) liaising directly with the relevant department to make sure the assets are ordered of transferred to the new starter.
• Welcoming new starters and accommodating them upon arrival at Head Office, acting as
their main point of contact at head office
• Attendance at all regional sales meetings held once a quarter in various regions
• Supporting the regional Managers, Key Account Managers and reps with gap analysis
reports in order to drive sales (SYSPRO, Pivot tables, EXCEL)
 
General Requirements: •Excel Intermediate - F Functions, V Lookups, Pivot Tables etc
•Matric
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification advantageous
•5+ years experience in a Sales Administration role
•Proven stable career track record
•Proven organizational skills
•Well presented, excellent communication verbal and written
•Executive assistant/P.A/Office Manager experience Advantageous
