Service Desk Agent (Information Technology)

Max Salary: R15000
Decription: Our client is the leading provider of cloud based contact centre technology in South Africa. Most companies will tell you that people are their greatest asset, and our client is no exception.
Due to their exponential growth they currently have a vacancy for a Service Desk Agent. The position plays a key role in assisting clients with trouble shooting and resolution of customer support queries and managing these requests from creation to solution.
• Technical qualification such as A+ or N+ is an absolute minimum requirement.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer services role (IN A TECHNICAL SUPPORT ROLE IN A CONTACT CENTRE).
• Experience helping end users with the operation and functionality of developed software applications / integrations.
• Ability to communication with clients in a confident, friendly manner displaying outstanding communication skills.
• Self-starting with strong analytical and results driven mindset.
• Knowledge of contact centre.
• Knowledge of basic network routing and troubleshooting (Ping, Tracert Pingplotter etc).
• Knowledge of basic PC troubleshooting (Audio, Headsets, Chrome, Windows OS etc).
• Knowledge of analysing and trouble shooting log files (Windows Event View and Windiag).
